SBI Tees respects your privacy and uses personal information solely to provide requested products and services, communicate regarding orders, process payments, and provide customer support.
By providing your email address, you consent to receive communications related to your orders, account, services, and occasional promotional offers. You may opt out of promotional communications at any time.
Turnaround Time
Standard production time is generally seven (7) to ten (10) business days after final artwork approval and receipt of any required payment or deposit.
Specialty services including tag printing, folding, bagging, specialty inks, embroidery, finishing services, or unusually large orders may require additional production time.
Rush production may be available for an additional charge and is subject to scheduling availability.
SBI Tees is not responsible for delays caused by supplier shortages, shipping carriers, weather, utility outages, labor disruptions, governmental actions, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
Payment Terms
A deposit of up to fifty percent (50%) may be required for new customers, custom products, or large orders. Unless written Net Terms have been approved, payment in full is required before delivery or pickup of your order.
Invoices are due according to the agreed payment terms. Accounts ten (10) days or more past due are subject to a late fee of $25.00 plus interest at the rate of 1.5% per month (18% annually) or the maximum amount permitted by law.
Quotes remain valid for thirty (30) days unless otherwise stated in writing. Prices may change due to supplier pricing, freight costs, tariffs, raw material costs, or product availability.
Spoilage & Misprint Allowance
Due to the nature of custom screen printing and embroidery, production spoilage is an accepted industry standard. SBI Tees allows for spoilage of up to two percent (2%) on orders under 1,000 pieces and one percent (1%) on larger orders.
If spoilage exceeds these thresholds, SBI Tees may, at its sole discretion, reprint affected garments or provide a credit not to exceed five percent (5%) of the order value or $250.00, whichever is less.
Artwork & Ownership
All artwork created by SBI Tees remains the exclusive property of SBI Tees unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Charges for design services compensate SBI Tees for creative labor and production services and do not transfer ownership or copyright.
Customer-supplied artwork remains the property of the customer or its rightful owner. By providing artwork, logos, trademarks, or other materials, the customer represents that they have the legal right to reproduce and use those materials.
SBI Tees assumes no responsibility for copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property violations resulting from customer-supplied artwork.
Artwork Approval
Customer approval of artwork, proofs, or mockups constitutes final authorization to begin production. After approval, SBI Tees is not responsible for errors including, but not limited to, spelling, grammar, layout, sizing, placement, colors, or other customer-approved details. All artwork modifications, production files, and digitized embroidery files created by SBI Tees remain the property of SBI Tees unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Order Changes & Proofs
Changes requested after artwork approval or after production has begun may result in additional charges, revised delivery dates, or cancellation of previously scheduled production.
Mockups and digital proofs are representative examples intended to illustrate artwork placement and overall appearance. Final printed products may vary due to garment construction, decoration method, fabric characteristics, monitor settings, and other production variables.
Production & Garment Policies
Out of Stock Items
Garment availability is subject to supplier inventory. SBI Tees cannot guarantee the availability of any particular style, color, or size and is not responsible for supplier stock shortages.
When possible, SBI Tees will recommend comparable replacement products for customer approval.
Manufacturer Defects
SBI Tees is not responsible for manufacturer defects including dye inconsistencies, fabric flaws, stitching defects, sizing irregularities, or other issues originating with the garment manufacturer.
Customers with critical deadlines are encouraged to order additional garments to account for potential manufacturer issues.
Garment & Print Expectations
Slight variations in print placement, ink coverage, registration, garment sizing, and finished appearance are normal within the custom apparel industry and are not considered defects.
Prints placed near seams, collars, pockets, zippers, or other garment features may exhibit minor inconsistencies due to the construction of the garment.
Wash & Care
To maximize the life of decorated garments, customers should follow the care instructions provided with the product. Improper washing, drying, ironing, bleach, harsh detergents, or environmental exposure may result in fading, cracking, shrinking, or premature wear.
SBI Tees is not responsible for damage resulting from improper care or normal wear and tear after delivery.
Image Placement
Image placement may vary by as much as three-quarters of an inch (¾") in any direction and is considered within normal production tolerance.
Ink Color
Every effort is made to match requested ink colors as closely as possible. However, exact Pantone color matching cannot be guaranteed due to differences in garment materials, ink systems, curing processes, and monitor displays.
Samples
Printed samples are non-refundable. At SBI Tees' sole discretion, sample charges may be credited toward a future production order.
Shipping
SBI Tees is not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, delivery exceptions, or other carrier-related issues after an order leaves our facility.
Shipping, freight, and carrier charges are non-refundable once incurred.
Split Shipments
Split shipments are available upon request and may be subject to additional shipping, handling, and processing charges. Shipping instructions must be provided before production begins.
Order Inspection & Claims
Customers are responsible for inspecting all orders within seventy-two (72) hours of delivery or pickup. Any claims involving shortages, defects, misprints, damaged merchandise, or other order discrepancies must be submitted in writing within this time period.
Failure to notify SBI Tees within seventy-two (72) hours constitutes acceptance of the order as complete and accurate. After this period, no claims, refunds, credits, or reprints will be issued.
To be considered, all claims must include:
- A clear description of the issue.
- Supporting photographs or documentation.
- The original order or invoice number.
SBI Tees reserves the right to inspect returned merchandise or request additional documentation before approving any claim.
Claims will not be approved if:
- Garments have been worn, washed, altered, or resold.
- Items were damaged after delivery.
- The issue falls within accepted industry production tolerances.
- The issue resulted from customer-supplied garments, artwork, or instructions.
Approved claims may be resolved through a reprint, repair, store credit, or another remedy determined solely by SBI Tees. Refunds are not guaranteed.
Customer-Supplied Goods
Customer-supplied garments and merchandise are decorated entirely at the customer's risk. SBI Tees is not responsible for damage, shrinkage, dye migration, print inconsistencies, manufacturer defects, or other issues associated with customer-provided items.
Any replacement, credit, or other accommodation provided by SBI Tees for customer-supplied goods is made solely at SBI Tees' discretion and does not constitute an admission of liability.
Marketing & Portfolio Usage
Unless the customer provides written notice prior to production, SBI Tees may photograph completed work and display finished products, project images, customer names, and customer-provided logos solely for the purpose of showcasing work completed by SBI Tees.
These materials may appear on our website, social media platforms, advertising, trade show displays, printed marketing materials, and other promotional media. Customers may opt out by notifying SBI Tees in writing before production begins.
Nothing in this section transfers ownership of any customer trademark, logo, copyright, or other intellectual property to SBI Tees.
Trademark & Intellectual Property
Customers represent and warrant that they own or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to reproduce any artwork, logos, trademarks, copyrighted materials, names, likenesses, or other intellectual property supplied to SBI Tees.
Customers agree to defend, indemnify, and hold SBI Tees harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from the use of customer-supplied intellectual property.
Cancellations
Orders canceled prior to the start of production are subject to a cancellation fee equal to ten percent (10%) of the order total to cover administrative costs.
Orders canceled after garments or materials have been purchased are subject to a cancellation fee of fifteen percent (15%) of the order total plus any applicable return freight, supplier restocking fees, or non-recoverable material costs.
Once production has begun, orders cannot be canceled.
Returned Checks
A service charge of $30.00 will be assessed for all returned checks or other dishonored payments.
Terms & Conditions Updates
These Print Policies and Terms & Conditions may be updated, revised, or modified by SBI Tees at any time without prior notice. The version published on this website at the time an order is placed shall govern that order unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Limitation of Liability
SBI Tees' total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to an order shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the affected order.
Under no circumstances shall SBI Tees be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, business interruption, or loss of goodwill.
Force Majeure
SBI Tees shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, labor disputes, supplier shortages, transportation interruptions, cyberattacks, internet or utility outages, pandemics, governmental actions, or other force majeure events.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from these Terms or any order placed with SBI Tees shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located within the State of Illinois.
Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order with SBI Tees, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Miscellaneous Terms
- Production Quantity: Finished quantities may vary by up to two percent (2%). Customers will only be billed for the quantity actually produced.
- Delivery Dates: Estimated delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed to in writing.
- Artwork Storage: SBI Tees may retain artwork and production files for future reorders but is under no obligation to retain them indefinitely.
- Customer Pickup: Orders not picked up within thirty (30) days may be subject to storage fees or disposal at SBI Tees' discretion.
